Troubleshooting

If you encounter problems while using our software, this section will help you identify and resolve common errors. Follow the instructions below to resolve common issues yourself.

1. User interface/app issues

Symptoms:

  • Display errors or missing elements in the user interface
  • Buttons or menus are not responding

Solutions:

  • Restart the software or reset the software to default settings.
  • Reinstall the software.
  • Update Windows and all apps in the Microsoft Store.
  • Make sure your software is up to date.
  • Download the latest Windows App SDK

2. Login issues

Symptoms:

  • Error messages when trying to log in
  • Login details are not accepted

Solutions:

  • Check your login details and make sure they are entered correctly.
  • Have an admin to reset your password.

3. Performance problems

Symptoms:

  • Slow response times
  • Frequent crashes or freezes of the software

Solutions:

  • Download the latest Windows App SDK
  • Close unnecessary applications to free up system resources.
  • Perform regular maintenance on your database (e.g. rebuild indexes, optimize database).

4. Database connection problems

Symptoms:

  • Error messages when connecting to the database
  • No data is displayed or saved

Solutions:

  • Check the database connection details (host, port, database name, username, password) in the settings.
  • Make sure the database servers are running and accessible.
  • Make sure there is a fast connection between this application and the database.

5. QR code generation error

Symptoms:

  • QR codes are not created correctly
  • QR codes are not printable

Solutions:

  • Check QR code settings and make sure all required fields are filled in.
  • Make sure your printers and scanners are working properly.
